MS-CIT: Maharashtra State Certificate in Information Technology
MS-CIT is an Information Technology (IT) literacy course started by MKCL in the year 2001. It is the most popular IT Literacy course in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL), is a Public Limited Company incorporated under the then Companies Act, 1956 on August 20, 2001. MKCL was promoted by the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra (GoM). On January 05, 2018, the governmental coordination of the Company’s affairs was handed over from the Department of Higher and Technical Education to the General Administration Department (GAD), and thereunder, to the Directorate of Information Technology.
You need to carry a passport size photograph & a State/Central Government authorized identity card. Affix the photo to the application form and submit a signed photocopy of the ID proof.
Wolrdclass e-Learning content will be provided to learner at Unitech Center.
Admissions are open from start to end of the month hence fees can be paid throughout the month. But admission will not be considered as confirmed till payment is not received.
Applicant shall be considered as registered learner only after the admission procedure is completed by him / her and fees are fully paid by him / her. If the complete payment is not done, then the Applicant will not be considered as registered learner and consequently will not be allowed to appear for the Examination.
No, there is no trial period. Make sure that you are completely satisfied with the information provided by the counseling person at the Center before you take admission. Note that fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
